Hiring stable hand/stall cleaner

We are hiring!

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand/Stall Cleaner to join our team. Must not be afraid of hard work. This position is not for everyone. There are long days and uncooperative horses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and experience in maintaining a clean and safe environment for horses and other livestock. This role involves various tasks related to animal husbandry, equipment operation, and general maintenance of the stable facilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily care for horses.
Maintain cleanliness of stalls, paddocks, and common areas to ensure a safe environment for animals.
Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as moving feed or cleaning areas.
Assist with the maintenance of the garden and surrounding landscape to promote a healthy environment.
Utilize hand tools for various maintenance tasks around the stable facility.

Requirements:

Experience with horses. (if your resume doesn’t show any experience we won’t be contacting you.)
Ability to operate tractors and other heavy equipment safely is desirable.
Proficiency in using hand tools for maintenance tasks is essential.
Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy loads as needed.
A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Willingness to learn new skills related to animal care and facility maintenance.
Being able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Weekends and holidays are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
